Who is up for a surprise?

If it's you then here you go. I finished the aqua and brown quilt and this is what I have left over. It all fit in a ziploc bag. Want it? Leave me a comment telling me what you would do with it and I will randomly select a name on Friday. I have to take a photo of the back to show you because it is as pretty as the front. I decided to piece it and *try* to use up all the fabric. I used up a lot but not all of it.

As I was piecing Look who was "helping". Jack! Not in the box but on my quilt! He is looking like "Hey, I'm just helpin what are you looking at?"

"Oh good, she put that darned camera away now I can settle in and be a really settle in and nap!"

Well, so much time elapsed that I got a photo of the back of Mary's quilt. It is HUGE so I had to have my friends hold it up so I could take this photo! Pretty cool back, huh??

Oooo love the back, it's almost as pretty as the front.

Well, let's see, what would I use the scraps for....there's the Tisket BOM, the My Neighborhood houses, Aunt Millie's Garden blocks, the Little Brown Bird quilt...no maybe too wild for that one...hmmmm I have so many projects lined up LOL. Now if you say we would have to actually make something in the very near future, you better take me out of the drawing LOL.

OH MY GOSH that's huge!!! How lovely of a back is that. That's like making two quilts, girl!
Jack looks SO content, lol. Like, thanks Mom, I needed a new place to sleep. *snort*

You brought me out of hiding! lol
I love your quilt and I love those colors, and if the leftovers were in my possession... I would look at them, sort them, resort them, stash them, think about them, and wish I were as efficient, talented and productive as You!

So pretty. Lovely fabric. I would make some little snap wallets and loyalty card wallets with the fabric.

I love the quilt. I would use the scraps to add to my hexagon star quilt I'm hand piecing. I need to make 255 stars and I'm making 2 stars of each fabric. That's 122.5 fabrics that I need. This would help add to my wonderful stars. I hope I win.

Oh that is one beautiful quilt, and I love the colours. If I was to lucky enough to receive the left overs I would make something for myself, and hopefully in the process imporve my sewing and quilting skills. xxx

I think I might use it for a scrappy bag. Thanks for the chance.

Love the back, Pam! I love the colors, but please don't put in your drawing. I need to use up fabric, not get more! LOL

I don't know what I'd do with the fabric(beyond make a quilt) but it sure is a great color combination!!!

I just bought a purse pattern that uses fabric strips. Your fabric scraps would make a great looking purse :) What a great idea to give away your left-overs. I may have to do that myself:)

That is a really big quilt. What would I do with the scraps. I would use them in a monster quilt I am designing in my head.

That quilt is gorgeous and if I won the scraps I would make a smaller version of what you did (or attempt it)!

Pam, Love your quilt front and back. It makes it so much easier than having to buy more material.
Love your kitty. Reminds me of Garfield. I am working on a baby quilt that has to be done the end of the week. Have a great week!!

Love your quilt and love the colors. Looks like a lot of fabric in that bag. There is probably enough to make another Miranda bag....and some of ansewon.blogspot.com's really neat pot holders.

Wowza! What a awesome surprise bag! I would make a summer dress for my adorable 8 year old granddaughter who is mad about aqua and would be thrilled to get a new dress! She could wear it on her first airplane ride to my son's wedding!

Hi, I hopped over from Red Geranium Cottage... love the colors and the quilt. Looks like you have had a full couple of weeks from what I can see. I wouldn't mind being put into the running for the "bag of scraps" but then... it looks like you have a bunch all ready. Have a great week!

Is this an attempt to birng down the stash count? :P

Lotte and I really think alike: stash reducing was the first thing that came to my mind too *lol* (yep the 39 yards again)

Good Morning Pam. When I got home last night from CHQuilters I sat down and watch the end of American Idol and then crashed. I love the aqua and brown quilt, front and back. My least favorite thing about making a quilt is piecing the back. You did a greaaaaaat job. If I were to win your scrap bag I would make a Schlep Bag. I am in need of a summer bag and I just love the color combination. My DGD loves the colors too.
I think I did it.

See you Wednesday

Darn it I missed this giveaway, but at least I got to see Jack! I've missed seeing him, too. Sorry about the little bunny.
