Christmas Continues

I had to take the day off on Friday as we had the furnace guy coming to check out our humidifier.  Our new fridge was supposed to be delivered too.
One was coming in the am somewhere between
8 am and noon while the fridge was supposed to be delivered between 1 and 5pm.
Convenient.

Pauline and I were going to meet for lunch and exchange Christmas gifts.
She did come onver and brought lunch meat and chips and muffins.
 It was great.
 Then we exchanged our gifts.

She made me a message board using chalk cloth and Mama Said Sew fabric.
 So cute.
Also a hanger to put it on.

There is a cool pan that both Pauline and Cori use to make cookies.
They turn out like deep dish cookies.
You can use the preformed cookies in this pan and they turn out GREAT!

And if these gifts weren't enough, she knitted a beautiful scarf for me.
 Totally in my colors too!!

Isn't it just gorgeous?
It is so pretty I will probably wear it around and not just with my coat.

Thank you so much Pauline for your generous gifts and for being such a great friend!

How wonderful she knew just what to make and get for you! That is what the best of friends are able to do. Pick just the right gifts with the right colors! How fun!

I'm thinking that a day off of work (for any reason) is a great day, when you can spend with special friends! Glad you had such a nice day...and got so much "booty" (you, know...like "Pirate's booty". And, I'm not talking about Johnny Depp's behind! (well, I wasn't talking about it. but, now I mention it, I am thinking about it =P)

I know, I should SHUT-UP...I'm too old for "that sort of thing!"

The scarf is beautiful, love the colors. I have been eyeing that same Whoopie Pie pan, too. When you bake some cookies with it, please post a pic and a review. Thanks!

I love that scarf, it is totally cool. I saw one of those cookie pans and maybe I will have to get one and give it a try.
