I was in the process of sewing the binding on to Fresh Squeezed. LTW brought it back to me this past week and is it ever beautiful! I showed it to DH and he asked who it was for. I told him it was for us!!! He wanted to put it on our bed right away! Funny because the binding is not even hand stitched down yet! Well, at least I know he liked it.
As I was sewing, Jack decided he had to try it out to see if it was alright to sleep under. I took a few photos of him so you can see what I have to deal with.
You need to understand the relationship between Mosen (the black and white one) and Jack. Jack terrorizes poor Mosen, who is kind of wimpy. Jack tries this same thing with the other cats but they just ignore him, mostly. He will stalk Mosen and chase him and try to fight with him, boys, eh? So I really had to laugh when Mosen wanted to be on the quilt too but he knew that Jack was already there. So he jumped up to my sewing table and peered down at Jack, just to make sure he wasn't going anywhere or waiting to pounce on him!
Once he was certain of that he layed down on the top of the sewing table and thought he would test that part of the quilt for sleepability.
Thanks, boys but I need to finish the binding so SHOO!! And people wonder why my quilts have cat hair on them, sheesh!!
Finally a quilt for yourself! Pity that those furry "friends" blocked my view. Post a catfree pic once the binding is done :)!

ReplyDeleteSo so so pretty - and cat-worthy, lol! Once you get it on your bed you KNOW where they'll be!
ReplyDeleteI just love the fresh squeezed fabrics, they are so bright and cheery, no wonder everyone in the house wants to use it LOL.

I recognise that quilt. If it's anything like the one you made for me ( which still lives on my dinind table) then it is gorgeous.
