I'm Just Sayin'

I know this is a little thing but it keeps coming up and it really, really oh and did I say REALLY bugs me. My blog name is Mama Spark's World. I am NOT a PARK. I am the mama of Sparkle (DD#1) Please, please, please...there is an apostrophe in the name meaning the world of Mama Spark.

I AM NOT A PARK!!!

They call my DD1 Sparkle. Her friends call me Mama Spark. I know some of you already know this but since there are new people and so I thought I would go over it yet again.

I think the reason I dislike it SO much is because I am weight sensitive, when you call me a park I feel like you are saying, she is as big as a house. See? That doesn't feel very good to me.

If you consider yourself a friend or you want to be please:

It's Mama Spark

*climbing off the soap box now*

SIGH

  6. I'm pretty sure I haven't made that error and if I ever did, I truly apologize. I remember even double checking before I hit post.

I understand where you are coming from though, I really get tired of being asked how I make a crispy quilt. It would be more appropriate to ask how I came to be called Crispy and not make assumptions.

    Crispy

  7. Let it out, breath in, breath out. We all have our little soap boxes, or big ones, and you need to say it like it is. You go girl!

  10. The "by" line is confusing everyone - there are no spaces.
(I have no idea how to edit that, but I bet 1 simple space will solve all of the problems.)

  11. While I'm here - my name has 3 letters, my mother named me, still she calls me "Aim" not AMY. So irritating!

  12. Thanks for letting me - I am a guilty one and I do apologise. I think you look awesome - the only thought I had about the "park" name was that because you have such a beautiful array of quilts/projects and purchases that one would need a large area to house them so didnt give it a 2nd thought. Anyway Mama Spark - you are great - love our owl projects - I would be dreaming about those little beauties. and again.....sorry!!!!!! Am sure if you were a phone call away you would have brought it to my attention sooner. xx
