No, I seriously doubt it! The day began like any other, up early, go to work, work, leave for home. OK so far pretty normal. I had spoken with my friend Cori, Crazy Quilt Girl, and she had asked me to help her write a piece for some upcoming blogs about how she got started and about what she does. I was happy to do that. So I know that Pips has arrived at her house so I went over there directly after work. OMG it was Pips heaven! As I walked in 3 more boxes of Pips arrived on her porch. Here are the two piles with a few more bolts coming tomorrow. Do you know what that means? It means she will have it ALL!!! SQUEEEEE!!!
It was interesting though that seen in person some of the color ways I thought I would love I was not as excited about. I LOVED the gray dog, it is the cutest, and the gray scooter girl too. Maybe I'm just in love with gray at the moment, LOL.
Well, after my ODing on Pips I went home. Major bunner! I had to think about what I want to buy (read can afford to buy with an upcoming trip to Utah in May). I'll keep you posted. I'm pretty sure I will buy more than I should but hey sometimes you just have to do these things (like when I found the entire line of Hope Valley).
I was home for a little while and happened to be sitting in my living room looking at a magazine when I saw the UPS truck. I wasn't expecting anything was I? My DS and I raced to the door (although I'm still not sure what he was racing to the door for) and what do I see on my front porch?
OMgosh it's HERE!!! My new Baby Go! that I won, I was so excited!!!
Along with her came 3 mats and the three dies I chose, circles, hexies and quarter square triangles.
I chose those three dies because my good friend LTW has a full sized GO! and lots of dies. I thought I would get some of the ones she doesn't have. I may order more later but this is certainly enough to play with at the moment dontcha think??
I took today off so I could try to get my Layer c\Cake and my Jelly Roll quilts put together. Any bets of whether that is going to happen? I really need t
o do the LC quilt top as it is for a graduation present and the party is the end of May!! Maybe I'll just clean my house. Who knows, it's always an adventure around here! Cori and I are going to go out for lunch today and that will be fun. I am so happy to re-establish our friendship. She is such a wonderful person and a great friend! Well, whatever you do I hope you have a great day today too. Today is called the present for a reason. It is God's present to you so use it wisely! ~XOP~
