WIPs With Friends

OMGosh with all the camper stuff going on in my world right now 

I almost forgot to post WIP's With Friends!!  

We picked up our new fifth wheel camper last week on Thursday.  

We drove it to a nearby campground on Friday and it has been parked there all week 

(our daughter has our truck for the week).  

As you can imagine there has not been a lot of sewing going on over here. 

 I did bring some binding to work on and managed to bind an entire quilt though!  

First up are camper pictures!!  This is us picking it up

TV and fireplace, directly across from 2 theater recliners that heat and massage!!

 First family get together.  Dinner with our whole family (this is our son and his dog)

Even got 2 new Spartan tables to use outside.

So more to follow as we have more adventures.  

I have a quilt in mind for our bed. 

 The one you see in the video was the one I made for my dad a few months before he passed away. 

 It has snowmobiles and golf balls all over it, LOL.  

 I have a camper quilt on board to make and I can see that I need to make a Spartan quilt for the weekends we are at the football games too!

I did manage to finish binding our picnic quilt. 

 I will try to take a pic of the finished quilt in the near future too.

I am still working my way through the stars and squares I need to make for another quilt.  

I hope to have those finished soon so I can assemble and get that off to the quilter.  

It is a gift for a friend.

Fabric Pull and My Big Mouth

I volunteered to test a pattern for someone.  

I did not fully realize what I was getting into, I admit it. 

She sent the pattern and there are 196 diamonds that need to be cut, LOL.  

I ordered my ruler and pulled some fabrics. 

 I think it will make a cute picnic quilt so was 

thinking about using some of my Lizzy Dish fabric by Lizzy House.  

It is an older line and has dishes and silverware on it.  

Now I need to determine what I want to use for the background.

 I could use the white pearl bracelet fabric, but am thinking that I might want to try a color, especially if I use it for a picnic blanket!  

Maybe an aqua?  I could use yellow but I am not the biggest yellow fan, LOL.

I have quite a bit of this line all except for this one yellow print!  How odd is that?

Luckily a friend has some that she is willing to send me for this quilt.  I have really great friends!

Guess I had better figure something out for the background now.  

Also, I need to get back to making fish.

 Diamonds have to be first since that quilt has a 3 week turnaround time!! 

 If you need me, I'll be off cutting a bizillion diamonds.
