Introducing Polka Dot Playground With A Giveaway

I am happy to let you all know that I have a quilt in the April/May 2016 issue of
McCalls Quick Quilt magazine this month!

Subscription issues began shipping February 9, 2016. By March 1, 2016, the issue will be available on newsstands, as well as in print or digital download format at QuiltandSewShop.com at the following link here if you would like to purchase it.

This is my quilt.
It's called Polka Dot Playground.
You can find the Issue here if you want to preview it.

If you are interested in my quilt specifically you can check it out over here on the McCalls page.

I have 2 issues of McCalls Quick Quilts to giveaway (provided by McCalls).

In addition the Fat Quarter Shop has provided me 2 copies of Cozy Cottage Calendar to give away!
The FQS is such a generous sponsor!

If you are interested in winning a either thing, pop over to this link
and leave me a comment.
Then come back here and tell me that you did.

For a second chance tell me what YOU are working on!

Please be certain that I can contact you via email.
If you are no-reply, leave your email in your comment.

That's it!
I am so excited to be able to share this new quilt with you all!

I will link up with Finish It Friday at Crazy Mom quilts too.

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Aw, I tried to leave a comment at that link, but it wouldn't take it. Kept telling me that page was unavailable! I'll try again later! Love your quilt! Congratulations on being published in this issue! XO

P. S. I'm working on a UFO, a string quilt made from upcycled men's cotton plaid shirts. It's red, white, and blue. XO

I just picked up my copy of the magazine yesterday. Love your quilt. Tried to leave a comment on the McCall's site and it would not load to the correct page.

Right now I'm working on a fast little St. Pat's wall hanging and a baby quilt using Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage animal patterns. Rina

What a thrill to have your quilt published in a magazine - congratulations!!
I would love the chance to win the magazine.
At the moment I'm working on a black and grey quilt (her colour choice) for my grown up grand-daughter, with touches of raspberry batik for a pop.

I really wanted to congratulate you for having a quilt in the magazine. I have a subscription, so I'll get the mag and will definitely look for your quilt. It's such a fun quilt--obviously the reason for the title. Beautiful!

There are problems with the McCalls site. I logged in, got an error page, backed out and found I was logged in, created a comment, submitted it, got another error page, backed up and found my comment was posted. It's a great quilt, but an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE USER EXPERIENCE.

Today I am making a pile of improving letters for a round robin quilt.

I am currently sewing together a quilt maiden from left over yellow and blues.
I still have plenty of left overs!

I did post a comment and then I got a message saying "Oops, they can't find what I[sic] was looking for."

Anyway, I'm sewing wedding stuff in between hand quilting and oldie from the 1980s.

Just picked up a copy of the magazine. Love your pattern -- I want to make it as an "I Spy" for my niece. Need some pink polka-dot for the sashing!
