I bought some of the cutest Christmas dish towels a few years ago.
I *FINALLY* made time to make them all into pillow covers.
I had so much fun mixing and matching fronts, backs, zipper covers.
I decided to make all the covers for 20" pillows.
I quilted each of the fronts.
The pillow covers are all lined too.
Here is the parade of pillow covers.
I gifted this one to my niece that has 4 girls under the age of 5!
For the zipper cover I used the cut off of the dish towel.
Worked GREAT!
Next up was one I got to use Max the dog print (from the Grinch).
I made some candy cane bias binding.
I had bought the cutest little iron on labels so put them on the back of each pillow cover.
I really loved the print I used for the border and back on this one.
Snickerdoodles, molasses ginger, Swedish Cardamom, a Cardamom shortbread, peanut butter blossoms and chocolate chip.
It was so BAD!
I am eating low carb but I think I ate my weight in cookies, d'oh!
Then I started back on the pillow covers.
I quilted a Christmas tree into this one with a star on the top!
I think this one is my all time favorite!
I'm a sucker for the aqua and red!
Our neighbors down the street put up an amazing light display

Beautiful, you've done a great job on those Christmas cushions!
That is a great idea... I received a dishtowel from one of my "stitch and b***h" members for Christmas... and I will make it into a pillow like yours!!
Love those dishtowels, far too good to use for drying dishes on! Love what you made. Have a wonderful Christmas & New Year. Hugs Susie & Treacle xx
Love these! What a great use of tea towels that are too cute to use to dry dishes. Merry Christmas to you and Chris and all the best in 2022.
I never thought of using towels to make pillows. Great idea. They all turned out really cute.
