Goldilocks is Finished and For Sale

 Oh my goodness!
I have had a lot of tops finished lately.
That means I needed to send them to my quilter(s).
When I was home I got a couple of them bound so thought I would share.

First up is a pattern test I did for Meags and Me called Goldilocks.

This quilt is so sweet
I used the Three Bears fabric by Stacy Hsu for the pattern,
The bears and goldilocks are all machine embroidered/appliqued.
This quilt is for sale for $250 shipped in the US.

I pieced the back and it turned out so cute!

If you are interested in purchasing this quilt please send me an email.

Hand Work on my Field Mice quilt

I did all of the applique using fusible.
I straight stitched around them.
Then I added all the hand work.

Satin stitch is not my favorite but I did all these flowers so got MUCH better as I went along.

I'm pretty sure this mouse is my favorite!
Look at him carrying the cheese!!!

I LOVED making this pattern.
It is called Field Mice and is by Meags and Me.
You may need to make one too!!!

WIP Tops Finished While We Were In NC

I had time to work on some of my WIPs while we were waiting for Theo to arrive.
I had cut this out when I was in in Kansas at retreat in August.
It was quite complex but I LOVE it!!
I am Swedish so the Dala horse is a favorite of mine.

Just in case you were curious about my sewing space in the camper, this is it.
The cats take turns "helping"  me.
Some are more "helpful" than others, LOL

I bought this kit last August while at the MI retreat.
Fabric is Guess How Much I Love You.
I had no reason to make it but once again, the voice inside my head told me I needed to get it done.
Turns out, a friend of my daughter's is expecting.
That little voice is never wrong!!

I cut this out out before we left home as well.
I have a Disney OBSESSED friend that this will be going to.

I finished this top while we were in NC too.
It will be going to a relative once it is quilted and I get it back.

I'm not so big on making clothing but saw this pattern and could not resist.

I made this for my Thomas obsessed grandson.
We were taking him on a Thomas and Percy train excursion.
I thought this would be great for that.

It even has a hood!!!

I had done these bears as a pattern test for Meags and Me awhile ago.
I finally made them into a quilt top.

This was also a pattern called Field Mice by Meags and Me that I pattern tested.
The hand work is not completed in this photo.
I have since  finished the hand work and sent it off for quilting.

I have had this cut out for some time.
I finally finished the top
It is the pattern called Camommile
I used all low volume Halloween fabrics.
This one is for meeeeeeeee.
I put the AGF ghosts on hot pink for the back.

These are the tops I finished from the end of August until October.
Hope you enjoyed the show.

Blue Lagoon Quilt Top

I *finally* finished all the hand stitching on my Blue Lagoon quilt top.
I just had gotten out of the habit of doing handwork but decided to pick it up and start working on it.
Do you ever just put something away and forget about it?
I made a small box for handwork projects and will bring that in the camper.
It is relaxing for me to do this at night instead of just playing on my phone.
Wish me luck with keeping this up!

I did this pattern as a test for Meags and Me.
It is a darling quilt and I am so happy with how it came our!

I took these inside so the colors are not as vibrant as they are in real life.
I found a royal blue Minky remnant in my stash that I am going to use for the back.

Happy Stitching!

Hedgehog Quilts

I tested a pattern for Meags and Me called Lil Nugget.
It is hedgehogs and pinwheels.
The hedgies are machine embroidered and oh so adorable.
I used the Summersault fabric line by Erin McMorris.
It is an older line but so bright and cheery.

I decided that I was going to try and use up stash fabrics for some of these test quilts.
I did not have enough of any one Minky so I put these 2 together.
I loved the rainbow as it matched the colors on the front so well.
I split the rainbow and inserted the bumpy Minky between the rainbows.
I think it came out pretty cute and used up my stash.
win-win.

I had 5 embroidered hedgies and some bright pink, Minky left over, so voila, a small quilt.
I put a pink flannel with white dots around it for a border.
I had a bright pink bumpy minky in my stash for the back.
Another win!

I had my daughter drop off both of these, another baby quilt and a wedding quilt with my LAQ.
I am not sure how I want the hedgehog/pinwheel quilt quilted.

These hegies are so cute and were very fun to make,
as you can tell since I had some left overs!

Do you have a favorite hedgie?

Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

 Everyone knows this saying.
Meags and Me are at it again and have the most adorable patterns to go with this line of fabric!
I had the pleasure of testing the machine embroidery for one of their patterns.
Patterns for this line will be available in November.
I only had time to make one of each, but look forward to making more once we get back home.
I don't want to lug my BIG machine and embroidery unit around in the camper
so it will wait until I get home.
I have permission to share the work I have done so far.
I opted for teals, navies and golds for the color palette.

Which animal is your favorite?
I am having trouble deciding!
They are all pretty cute!
I am anxious for this pattern so I can make a quilt with these cuties!

Quite Contrary

I finished all the hand work on this quilt last year.
There is an EXTENSIVE amount of hand embroidery on this quilt.
I sent it to my LAQ and she put flowers and ladybugs on it.
 Perfect!
I finally managed to get it bound.
 I just love it!
It was a pattern test for Meags and Me.
The pattern is now available for purchase.

She is my favorite part of the entire quilt.

I can see using this color combo more.
Teal and yellow are so great together!
This is such a sweet quilt.
You may need to make one too!!
