OMGosh!! It was a crazy busy day in NYC!! I had a LOT planned and not sure how I would deliver!! I got up early and headed into the city around 9am. I wanted to go to the Japanese bookstore first, and I did, but they didn't have what I was looking for so I headed out to The City Quilter. I bought some Sebastian fabric (Ghastlies) and a few other things (will take photos and show you later). But here is the shop
I walked all the way to Soho!!! It was a very LONG walk!! haha on the way I saw St Joseph's church
And this really cool owl statue
Then off to Soho to the Purl for some shopping. (again, photos later of the goods) Here is the shop
Now I am not a knitter but WOW, just WOW
So after that I had a bit to eat and went on the walking tour, but I am so exhausted that you will have to wait until tomorrow for that tour. Nap time for me, so I can go out with DH tonight!! XOP

Wish I could have gone with you Pam! I've never shopped in NYC...just went there on business once and walked through Central Park. Have fun and rest up.
What fun... a city quilt shop AND a fab yarn shop...
Yup, them city blocks are huge!!!
Oh I cannot wait to go again next fall -- it's been about 15 years and I'm really ready to enjoy NYC again! Thanks for getting me all primed! LOL! :)
Sometimes when I go into shops that are so pretty with all the good on the walls and beautifully displayed I am happy just to stand and look. Thanks for sharing!
