As you know I have been working on a wedding quilt for my nephew, James and his wife Liz. There was a Michigan reception for them on Saturday. I was finally able to gift the quilt!
This was the back.
The quilting really shows up here.
Label all sewn on.
This is how I "wrapped" it to gift it.
I tucked the pillow cases into the roll so they would stay in place.
Here is the happy couple with their quilt.
Congratulations James and Liz and many happy returns!
Life is good!
Beautiful Quilt. Lucky couple. Love the colors.
What pattern did you use or did you create yourself?
I love the colors and design in your wedding quilt...it's beautiful and will be a treasure gift I'm sure! Love how you wrapped it, too!
lovely quilt for a lovely couple, Pam - and the label is perfect (although i disagree about your handwriting - i have seen it and it is practically perfect) ... i'm loving the big bow, too!!!
LOVE this quilt! Wonderful gift!
Beautiful quilt...beautiful couple and beautifully quilted by Liz. It's the perfect wedding gift!! I'm working on the Swoon quilt binding....it's stitched on, now it's the hand stitching. Enjoy your Sunday!!
Oh it turned out just beautiful.
It is absolutely beautiful! Just love it.
What a beautiful gift!
Fabulous quilting on a great quilt. What a wonderful gift.
Do you have a pattern? This is gorgeous! Lucky couple!
Wow! Spectacular! Love the colors!
That is a very pretty quilt. Not too feminine, which I'm sure the groom appreciated. Did you quilt it on a domestic machine or a longarm? I really like the quilt stitch pattern.
