You should all know how much I LOVE Halloween right? So my giveaway is a Halloween Schlep bag (made by PTM). But wait there's more, see that green and white paper inside the bag? That is the pattern Fair and Square from none other than Amanda Jean of Crazy mom quilts and wait for it...wait for it...you will get an autographed copy of her pattern!!!!! How amazing is that? But wait there's more. In the second photo you will see some Halloween fabrics on the large piece of black fabric. I cut out enough 6.5" squares to make the quilt along with 2.5 yards of black Kona Cotton for the sashing and the binding (this I did not cut). All you need to add is a back and you will have a quilt!!

Our kids are all grown up, when they were small Hubby (YES HUBBY) made costumes for them every year,(and one year he made a paper mache BLUE M & M, the first year the blue ones came out) I always wished we could just go to Wal Mart and buy them but nope he made them all, and that is my favorite memory of Halloween, my favorite part now is seeing how many other parents take the time to make the costumes, not many any more.

My favorite part of Halloween? One of my grand daughters was born on Halloween! She will be 4 this year. Cannot get any better than that. I am a follower. Oh and the G.R. quilt show is at the Delta Plex. But I had a friend that went today and she said it was very disappointing so I decided to skip it because we have family visiting later in the day. Halloween starts on the first for this family thanks to my granddaughter. We decorate which I don't like just love adding more each day until the 31. But my favorite part is watching what my gd will come up with for the Halloween contest at our local campground. Last year it was a zombie prom complete with queen and king. I live in a very small town, and the town center is closed off for a kids' parade each Halloween; I love seeing the kids (and the grownups) parading down the street in costume!

Hi! My favourite part of halloween is having my daughters friends over for halloween tea and going out in the garden for a torchlight treasure hunt.....it always ends up in a lot of laughter!

I love halloween sweets, like my late aunt's homemade popcorn balls she made. Except the year she thought she lost her ring in them. Uncle had to get out his metal dedector and go over all the balls!

Growing up, my favorite part was going around to Halloween costume contests with the costumes my stepmom handmade for us each year (we always won, so that helps!).... Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love the cute part of it rather than the eerie. Sweet little pumpkins, happy ghosts, gourds, fall leaves, and the list goes on. I have so many decorations for Halloween. It just makes me feel so warm and cozy.

Our kids are all grown, so we don't really do much for Halloween any more. When my FIL was alive, we always visited him to celebrate his birthday.
