You should all know how much I LOVE Halloween right? So my giveaway is a Halloween Schlep bag (made by PTM). But wait there's more, see that green and white paper inside the bag? That is the pattern Fair and Square from none other than Amanda Jean of Crazy mom quilts and wait for it...wait for it...you will get an autographed copy of her pattern!!!!! How amazing is that? But wait there's more. In the second photo you will see some Halloween fabrics on the large piece of black fabric. I cut out enough 6.5" squares to make the quilt along with 2.5 yards of black Kona Cotton for the sashing and the binding (this I did not cut). All you need to add is a back and you will have a quilt!!

I loved making my girls' Halloween costumes. Of course, when they would come home, I would have to check their candy and put all the chocolate in the freezer (well hidden, of course!) for later consumption...by ME!!

my favorite part of halloween is freaking out all the little kids! I know - I'm evil - self aware on this. LOL
On Halloween, we have 700 to 800 trick-or-treaters, and put on a big display in our yard, so much fun to see the children's faces! Also, we visit a big Victorian House nearby that displays 4000 carved and lighted pumpkins!

My favorite part of Halloween is two-fold. One, I LOVE making costumes for my kiddos and working through the creative process of choosing a costume and designing it together. Second, Halloween is my husband's birthday, so we love to celebrate with him before trick or treating!

can i honestly say that the candy is my favorite part of halloween? and the 90% off sale a few days later? i love chocolate WAY too much. i walk with the kids on halloween night as long as they can stand it knowing ill sneak treats from their bags!!!! i have awesome memories of my dad taking my sisters and our neighbors t or ting for HOURS when we were kids.

My favorite part of Halloween besides dressing up to go to school is making bags of goodies to giv e out. Actually I also love being in a campground on Halloween. They decorate and trick or treat!!

I love the little kids that come to the door to trick-o-treat. I like to lower the candy bowl to have them pick out what they want. Fun to see who picks what, who thinks vs just picks and who wants to grab it all. They are all so cute.

That is a great gift. Our favorite part is going to our daughter and son-in-laws house and watchig our grandkids trick or treat. All the neighbors are out if the weather is good and they have a beer keg and wine on the back of a golf cart and go around and offer drinks to the neighbor grownups and great candy for the kids. A great neighborhood Halloween party. Of course some people come from other neighborhoods and get in on the party too. Never enough drinks to make anyone feel bad the next day but just something to warmup the grownups who aren't as active as the little ones.
My favorite part is the children of course, and in particular my grandchildren in their costumes. :) blessings, marlene

For the last three years, my favorite part of Halloween has been taking the boys around the neighborhood - and watching their faces as they saw the other kids in costume and had people gave them candy! This will likely be the first year that they actually "get" what Halloween is. I'm a definite haunted house fan, but that's a couple years off now.
My favorite part of Halloween is watching the kidos pick out their costums. My granddaughter is going as a flamingo for the second year in a row.
